Veg Mayonnaise Grilled Sandwich

Grilled Mayonnaise sandwich is a healthy, flavoursome variety sandwich🥪. It is so easy and quick to make that I can easily say that it will find its way of becoming one of your favourite snacks. This sandwich recipe is quite filling and wholesome at the same time. The recipe is enjoyed by all the age groups. Veg Mayonnaise sandwich fits perfectly in breakfast, snack-time and even in kids lunch box.🍞🥪😋

Veg Mayonnaise Grilled Sandwich

The best part of the recipe as i said is that it is easy to make and can be made with your choice of vegetables. We do generally have stock of carrots, onion, cabbage, capsicum most of the time and thats all we need apart from bread-(white, wheat or multigrain), mayonnaise and few spices.

I have used griller for roasting the bread, instead you can also use toaster, tawa or even plain bread. They all tastes wonderful. You can used green chutney to make the sandwich more flavoursome. If you want, you can also skip this step of applying chutney.

Ingredients

Bread slices- 4

    Finely chopped capsicum- 2 tbsp

      Finely chopped onion- 2 tbsp

        Finely chopped cabbage- 2 tbsp

          Finely chopped carrot- 2 tbsp

            Mayonnaise- 1/3 cup

              Red chilli flakes- 1/2 tsp

                Black pepper- 1/2 tsp

                  Italian seasoning- 1 tsp

                    Salt- 1/4 tsp

                      Butter- 1 tbsp

                        Coriander chutney- 1 tbsp

                          Instructions

                          • Take a bowl. Add finely chopped vegetables, mayonnaise, salt, pepper, red chilli flakes & Italian seasoning.
                          • Mix all the ingredients well.
                          • Take two bread slices. Apply butter and coriander chutney on both the slices.
                          • Spread a generous amount of the vegetable mayonnaise mixture on the butter-chutney slice and cover with another slice.
                          • Toast the sandwich with butter on both sides.
                          • Cut the sandwich diagonally and serve with ketchup. Enjoy 😋
